Welcome to the YMCA of the Palms. We are a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization committed to providing quality programs and services to the community. Our mission is to put Judeo-Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
Chartered as a YMCA in 1969 as the YMCA of Collier County, we have been proud to serve the Greater Naples area, and since 1995 South Lee County with the new Bonita Springs facility. Our recent name change to YMCA of the Palms reflects the broader service area we now serve.
We are proud of the heritage of the YMCA’s reputation in the health and fitness field, but we’re much more than that. The YMCA offers services such as an early learning/pre school center for children ages 12 months through 5 years, swim lessons and recreational swimming, youth and adult sports, teen leadership and development, health and fitness programs, day camping, family events, and many other special interest programs.
The YMCA of the Palms includes both the Naples and the Bonita Springs facilities as well as two of our best kept secrets: the Norris Aquatic Center and the Naples YMCA Tennis Center. The Norris Aquatic Center, located on Livingston Road just north of Pine Ridge, is the only 50 meter facility in our Southwest Florida region and usage of the center is a benefit of your YMCA membership. Additionally, many are not familiar with the YMCA Tennis Center on the North side of the Naples campus. The 10 Har-Tru clay courts are available for individual, double or league play.
We offer quality, affordable programs and services designed to benefit all people. Along with program fees, we rely on contributions and volunteerism to ensure that those unable to pay full fees may receive scholarship assistance. The YMCA Annual Support Campaign is our venue to raise funds to support this pledge.
Character development is the focus of all YMCA programs, operations and staff. We embrace the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. By teaching, learning and demonstrating these values, we build strength in our kids, families and communities.
