YMCA Child Care provides a fun, caring and learning environment for children. YMCA programs emphasize literacy and incorporate the character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. All YMCA teachers have early childhood experience and at least 45 hours of training in toddler/pre-school development. Many of our teachers have their CDA or a BA degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education. All YMCA teachers are CPR and First Aid certified. The YMCA believes in quality care and the teacher to child ratio is lower than state requirements.
YMCA Child Care Programs include:
- Infant Care: starting at 3 months
- Toddler Program: 12 months - 3 years
- Preschool Program: 3 - 4 years
- Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK): 4 - 5 years
